Beschreibung der Aktivität

Children in the Austrian Kindergarten Atzenbrugg have learnt to roll paper towels into balls when drying their hands after washing them in the bathroom.

They roll the paper to make the towel small, thus saving volume and plastic (fewer rubbish bags).

Last but not least, they learn to form dumplings and practise fine motor skills.

Effect: The children only take 1 paper towel from the dispenser. Before, they often took two or more. They get used to plastic and paper-saving behaviour.
